I am back with a Miss !!!

Trying to guess by the blog title who the Miss is? ;) Well, I might just disappoint you this time. I am not referring to any girl here, rather I am referring to miss that means "regretting the absence".

Well, the story continues.. I have been missing many important event's of my life's journey and here I am all set to miss another one. :(

The company I work with, Symantec, is organizing a STAR (Symantec Technology and Response) wide event to celebrate the recent success of our NAV/NIS consumer release. It is organized as one of the most innovative and thoughtfull event which is to have all the fun, food and entertainment events for a full day long in a naturesque place. Its on 13th Nov 2009 and I am gonna miss its memory. But never-the-less, I have a reason to miss this event that surpasses any joy that I might have got in attending this event. I am going to see my new born Nephew "Vihaan" for the first time during this same time of event when my brother is celebrating his birth (brithday-28th Oct. 09) at my home town. :) I am rather excited about my visit to home than having missed the office gathering..

As I started my post with, this is not the first time I am missing an important event due to its clash with other priorities. I have missed quite a handfull like below:

1. My School's 25th year, Silver Jubliee, function, when I was in class 9th.
2. My School's Farewell function and the grand party, when I was in class 12th and it was my farewell as well.
3. My Engineering college's Department farewell night when I myself was in Final year.
4. My professional life's first work company Symantec Corporation's Silver Jubliee Grand function organized when I was about 6 months old in my work place.
5. And here goes the recent one.. My company's acclaimed high innovation, highly fun filled celebration (which is sure to leave a lot of memories) to celebrate our hard work that made our product a success.

There are more to above, but seeing above list's I am now taking these misses as routines in my life..
