Why this mentality?

Nomenclature: WD -> Work Done

1. Max u(WD by Leader) - v(WD by public)
subject to condition:
u,v > 0 &
u/v > 4 (Magic Number!! :D)

2. Max (Chaos + Effort Required for WD)
subject to condition:
Support/Motivation/Involvement by public is minimum &
Prob. of progress/success is still maximum
--------------------------------------------------------

I know guys, Its a very fuzzy way to express myself. Dont break your head on above.. ;)

The thing is, people expect default behavior from the leaders. Want everything to go right, but yet without their own invovlement. This is a general scenario which I can very well associate with the term 'Indian Mentatliy'.

When criticizing the govt. people talk about bad roads, pollution, thrash, crimes, mismanagement, etc. They want everything that can be corrected and go right, to indeed go right.. But the catch is, without their any contribution (except for the critcism).

I remember when I talked to few people about the "Juhu Beach Cleanliness Drive" early this year, many people had a laugh at it. They believe that things cant go right. They are not willing to do their part (not also when they themselves are throwing wastes). But they still want Indian Beaches to be clean like any foreign nation's famous beaches.
When and How will this Indian Mentality will change?? The above is just an example and if you really think, you can find N no. of examples where you yourself can play a part in improvement.

People also expect things to be defaulty done by the leader, without junta itself showing any interest in it. Tell you friends, this is the age of expressivenes. We need to emphasize on our demands to get things done. Even if some leader is interested in doing something new, he may atlast avoid it if the task dont get people motivated. So try to be expressive.
The power of expression and a hand of support can take things to a better level.
