Man With a Mission
Ever heard it? I bet you would have, if you watch english movies. There are many movies which are based on this line. In promos they say, "Only one man can save it..", "Only this man has the power to change...", "He's the man with a mission", blab blab blab..
Well, why am I saying all this? Tell me, ever liked a movie with such a theme? I know, mostly YES.. Why is it so that such movies inspire us greatly.. As I feel is, such movies keep us motivated. We believe that one man with a will has the power to challenge and change the world..
Then what,, after such movies we get back to our original life, and then again look for such new action thrilled and motivating movie ?? Right!!
I guess, my idea is getting clear to most of you now. Ok, lets forget about the movies. Coming to the reality talk with another question.. Dont you feel that life will be boring, crawling, and kind of tiredsome without the challenge in it? What about having a mission in our life? Now this is what I want you to think !!! I was just watching such a movie now and felt motivated. Now what??
The purpose of this blog is just to throw an open question to all the visitors here, If u like such things on ur screen, then why not make a mission of your life too.. I bet u will live and feel like no less than a hero,, and will really achieve something great contributing to the world.. If you have it, its great. Share with us and set an example, but if not think about it.
The fields are endless, and i am not talking about ur job as some mission,, its about facing the world with a will to change it in the right direction. Your targets can be anything, any corruption, enviroment, rights, or anything u like. Just have belief in you to stand before the world with high WILL,, Like a Man with a Mission..

hmmm..good post..
honeslty, i feel the reason for commonman.. (should i say commonperson...remember our HSS class ;)) is that in such movies, generally the hero will be some unknown entity, one who is indistinguishable from the crowd sorta person in the begining..just like you and me and lots of other moviegoers ..and as the movie proceeds..this non entity turns into an almighty(well almost..if you exclude the scenes in which he prays, if ever)..a man who is unstoppable and capable of doing anything and everything that he wants..now who doesn't like to be such a person?
in short the movie shows that a common man can become a superhero..and this is what all of us want..we relate to the hero in the first stages and when he turns into a victor we feel like we own the battle...this makes you love the movie...
but man..life is different..isnt it? i am not saying that you shouldn't have a mission..all i am saying is have a good reason for the mission...a reason which can motivate you endlessly
Many a time I get into argument with friends when I say that "Motivation" and "Inspiration" are words just from dictionary and they have no significance what so ever in real life.
Each one of us is born with infinte capability to make a difference to this world. Then why the hell we have to look up at some HERO for motivation, for inspiration. If I am getting inspired by some one else, then there is something seriously wrong with me. Inspiration is about doing something because someone else has done it. We pretend to be like someone else.
Why do I need someone else to motivate me, someone else to tell me what I should do in my life(directly or indirectly). Each one of us is hero in his own way. And who makes us a hero?? Not the motivation, not the inspiration but the circumstances and burning desire to defeat the circumstances. Look at any person whom you want to look as source for inspiration and you will find that it was the fire in there belly to fight made them great.
Hero's are not born.
Hero's are the result of rebel of a common man against time.
I too never concentrate on getting inspired only by a HERO of some movie. But what I want is having some kind of mission in our life. I know, some reasons or circumstances play an imp. role in motivating a person. But can u find a single person who hasnt been through any such circumstance throughout his/her life. Many people dont show strong WILL to fight against the wrong and courage to change it in a right way. What I just want is that people should keep their eyes open and instead of being passive, should react on actively for the welfare of humanity and their own being..
The world is changing at a much faster pace then in anytime in the past. This will continue to go many a miles in the future too.. But if people of the society confine themselves to their very own well being, then the time passed would be difficult to revert back. And I dont want people to have a HELL feeling living in this world. So for our own good future, the more the +ve motions floating, the more the +ve feeds flowing,the more the people are caring, the much the better. People should stand up for the good and have a WILL and Zeal to fight..
There is no fun in living in the world where everyone is HERO..:)
